With 8 years experience in Lettings & Property Management, GO Property Services have developed a very thorough and successful system for producing well written and easily understood Inventories and Schedule of Condition reports.
The introduction of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in 2007 has seen a marked shift in the need for concise inventories. Whether a property is furnished or not, an Inventory report is an essential tool for letting agents and all professional landlords and the report should provide a snapshot of the condition of the property when the tenant moves in.
A hand written list on a scrap of paper, or worse still a 5th time photocopy covered in crossings out and amendments, is no longer a suitable description of a properties condition when a tenant moves in & out.
It's a sad state of affairs for honest landlords and tenants that used to agree any breakages between them selves, and it is inevitably helping to squeeze the cost of renting even higher when some can ill afford it, but inventories are now an essential part of the paperwork for any residential tenancy.
With this in mind GO Property Services have launched a dedicated Inventory service catering for Managing Agents and Private Landlords. GO Property Inventories are members of the Association of Professional Inventory Providers (APIP) and all our operators are trained to work to the APIP standard. The inventories we produce are detailed and include full colour images along with meter readings and details of keys issued. Inventories produced are stored on our website allowing landlords, agents and tenants to log-in at any stage during the tenancy to download the original document.
GO Property Inventories provide inventory, check-in & check-out, regular tenancy inspection services in Nottingham & Leeds.
